Not medical advice

No Strings Men is not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or give medical guidance. The information here is general wellbeing and signposting only. It is not complete, may not apply to your situation, and is not a substitute for speaking to a qualified clinician or sexual health service.

If you are worried about symptoms, exposure, or your health, contact your GP, a local sexual health clinic, or NHS 111 (England) for advice on where to get help. In an emergency, use emergency services.

Why testing matters

Many STIs can be present without symptoms. Regular testing, especially when you have new partners, helps you look after yourself and others. Only a clinician or sexual health service can tell you which tests you need and how to interpret results.

Where to go (England)

  • GP can refer or advise on local services.
  • Local sexual health clinics (often free and confidential). Search the NHS website for services near you.
  • NHS 111 can help if you are unsure where to turn (available 24/7 in England).
  • Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland have their own NHS entry points. Use official NHS or equivalent sites for your nation.
